My interest in therapies started at the age of 7, massaging my dad’s back whilst he lay on the floor to watch football on a Saturday afternoon. This led to me to leave home at the age of 16 and live and work at a prestigious Spa-Health Hydro near Hungerford.

My career then gained momentum by continuously studying Complementary Therapies for 35 years. I held a clinic for over 25 years alongside a group of practitioners that started one of the first Natural Health centres in the country, The Health Hydro, Milton Road, Swindon. I continued to share my knowledge and training through teaching at Cirencester and Swindon Colleges.

I am now very happy to offer and perform a range of my favourite Holistic Therapies at a beautiful new Natural Health Studio in Highworth.

My passion for education does not stop – Look out for educational packages and training workshops at Dragonflies Therapy Studio. I am happy to visit groups for presentations and talks regarding any of the therapies I offer.

The dragonfly symbolises;

Transformation

Adaptability

Japans national emblem is the dragonfly, representing the symbol of joy and rebirth. The Tombo dragonfly is a symbol of the samurai and represents to never give up, and as the dragonfly doesn’t fly backwards, this makes a perfect analogy to move forward. For the Mayans the dragonfly is the emblematic animal of the goddess of creativity.

The dragonfly signifies changing the perspective of self-realization that comes from mental and emotional maturity and it denotes a deeper understanding of the meaning of life.

I perceive the dragonfly as a free spirit with its poise, beauty and the ability to move in all directions whilst displaying a sense of freedom.
